Twisted Luck built off of tried and true practices shared by our mentors on how to close the loop of sustainability. We partnered with our hay producer to help close that loop in 2024. Twisted Luck Sustainable Solutions provides high quality Worm Castings Extract to our hay producer who in turn sprays his fields eventually eliminating all chemical fertilizers. We feed that hay to our horses, which creates the manure that is composted and fed to the composting worms, which makes the castings that are used to make the extract. Starting in 2025 we will be putting forth plans for area farmers to "Ditch the Chemicals" and grow a healthier crop with our Compost, Worm Castings, and Worm Castings Extract, and leading the way to "FARMacy not PHARMAcy"!!

Twisted Luck Sustainable Solutions is currently working to eliminate as much compostable material from area landfills. Looking at the graph above everything in green is compostable...thats over 63%!!!!! Not only can we eliminate almost 2/3rds of the landfill contents, we can turn that into rich biodiverse soil amending compost that feeds our soil which feeds the plants the way Mother Nature intended. Twisted Luck Sustainable Solutions is working on grant monies to get composting equipment to streamline the composting system, and eliminate leaching etc. This will also help speed up the process, and allow us to take in much more compostable material.
